  • Masahiro Chono, known for his involvement in community disaster prevention and AED emergency life-saving initiatives, has teamed up with DDT to launch the STF (Safety Task Force) project. This project aims to cultivate a society built on values of ‘compassion’ and ‘mutual aid’.

The STF project will offer a series of events combining professional wrestling with awareness-raising on ‘disaster prevention’, ‘disaster mitigation’, and ‘lifesaving’. These events will be based on up-to-date information regarding public, mutual, and self-help strategies, reflecting the diverse lifestyles of our communities.

The project will feature three main programs:

The event will showcase two or three DDT matches, providing spectators with an opportunity to experience professional wrestling up close while enjoying entertainment.

In addition to promoting community disaster prevention and lifesaving awareness, this project aims to bring joy and vitality to people through the medium of professional wrestling.

We are actively seeking support from companies, municipalities, and organizations interested in backing this project. For further details, please contact us via email at ddt@cyber-fight.co.jp.

    About Masahiro Chono's Activities:
Masahiro Chono initiated his involvement in AED emergency lifesaving and community disaster prevention awareness activities within the professional wrestling community following the passing of his colleagues Shinya Hashimoto in July 2005 and Mitsuharu Misawa of Noah in June 2009. He completed a Lifesaving Training Course at the Tokyo Fire Department in March 2010.

The focus on disaster prevention, mitigation, and AED emergency lifesaving preparedness underscores the collaboration between public and private sectors. The New World Hours Sports Lifesaving Association, established in July 2014, aims to disseminate information on disaster prevention and lifesaving based on constantly updated strategies of public, mutual, and self-help.

Masahiro Chono's efforts have been recognized by numerous fire stations, fire brigades, and organizations, including the Tokyo Fire Department and the Metropolitan Police Department, for fostering juvenile health and preventing delinquency through cooperative activities.
