Termination of Announcer Ken Katoh's contract

DDT Pro Wrestling announcer Ken Katoh's contract as a ring announcer will be terminated as of 20th February due to inappropriate comments he made on Social Media, constituing a breach of contract.

The company cannot condone the inappropriate comments made by Katoh and has given him a stern warning. However, he has not shown any remorse and thus the decision was made to terminate his contract. We sincerely apologise to everyone who was offended by Announcer Katoh's comments and to the fans of DDT, for any inconvenienced and worry this may have caused.

Hereforth, we will strengthen then management system, with inclusion of the education and guidance of all athletes and staff to ensure that this does not happen again.
