【Press Conference】Keisuke Okuda picks a fight with Yukio Sakaguchi and all hell breaks loose! The 6-man August 20th is going to be one hell of a scramble!

On the 3rd of August in Tokyo, a Press Conference took place, and Keisuke Okuda picked a fight with Yukio Sakaguchi and all hell broke loose.


On the 20^th of August at DDT’s WRESTLE PETER PAN 2022 Ota Ward Gymnasium Big Match, Okuda, Yoshimura and Umeda, the DNA Army, will be going up against HARASHIMA, Sakaguchi and Okatani. DNA was the former DDT brand focused on younger talent that ended in August 2018.

Umeda’s comments: “We won’t lose to old men. We’ve been training our hardest too. We’ll put our fists through all your glamour.”



Yoshimura: “Why did I choose these two at this timing? I’m teaming with Higuchi right now. Along with Umeda and Okuda, the four of us were an iconic presence in DNA, and we were the four who were standing in the top then. Higuchi is the top of DDT right now. At that time when Higuchi was out, Umeda, Okuda and myself were at the top. This is very important to me right now. Reading Umeda’s comments, he’s still the same old mad dog from back then. Okuda, who recently appeared in RIZIN, commented: “DDT called me up after I left IGF and I left DDT after a span of 6 months. During that short time in DNA I was with Naomi-chan under the Naomi Kingdom unit, and Umeda was one of our buddies from then. I’m very glad to be called back here thanks to that period of time. By the way, what’s that old hag sitting across us doing? He’s putting up a long face for what? Should I end you huh, old man? You listening?”

On the other hand, HARASHIMA’s comments: “The 6 of us will be running wild so I’m honestly really looking forward to this bout. Let’s go all out”.

Okatani: “From what I’ve heard, he’s only interested in Sakaguchi, but I don’t think this he’ll even need to enter the ring before the match is decided. I’m more than enough. Prepare yourself.”

Sakaguchi: “I’ve been quiet and listening but Okatani, HARASHIMA and myself wouldn’t want to waste time listening to your old stories. We don’t need two babies who ran away. Why not we have a match for those belts you have Yoshimura? Okatani and myself, or even HARASHIMA and myself? I’m sure that’s a hell lot more interesting than this boring ass card.”

On his thoughts about DDT lately, Okuda: “ I haven’t watched wrestling lately, but I know I don’t like that old hag over there. I don’t even know the meaning of this matchup. That old man thinks he’s cool and all that. I’ll put him down one way or another. I have a debt to repay from back then. I haven’t forgotten yet.

Sakaguchi: “I hate annoying pests like you. Buzz off”
Okuda: “Are you chicken?? All I see is myself against an old hag.”



As the conference was about to conclude, Okuda couldn’t hold back his anger and kicked the table off the ground with Okatani following suit shortly after. After giving one slap to the face of Okatani, both Yoshimura and Okatani starting glaring at each other. Sakaguchi on the other hand, brought a glass bottle ready to crack it open on Okuda’s skull but staff managed to pull the both of them away before things got worse.

What was meant to be a DNA return match ended up into something short of a bloodsport.
